Dr. Stahr recently had a chance to visit Hawaii for a taste of the island life. Hawaii is gorgeous! Wow. In addition to the magnificent natural beauty which the state absolutely embodies, the environment is also fraught with great food, machetes, and coconuts. It is quite a common to see a local using a scary looking machete to hack open coconuts. Check out this photo: Coconuts! Machetes! Mayhem!

One of the most Hawaiian experiences you can have is to drive on the road to Hana on the island of Maui. It's a breathtaking crui...

We here at Dr. Stahr's FingerToppers are a restless crew. We wanted to share our finger laceration relief with the whole world! So, we take it around the world. Last year, we took them to Japan. This year, we took them to Germany! Hooray! The folks of Deutschland probably cut their finger all the time making sausages and slicing up cabbage for kraut. We wanted to eat their food and sooth their fingers and we went on a journey and made some swell buddies.

This wonderfully pleasant fellow, for example, is Christoper and...

The Texas Restaurant Association is kind of a big deal. Vendors, restaurant owners, guys who make super amazing ice machines, guys who sell exquisite ovens fryers, people who sell superb whiskey, bandage company guys..... people like this, they all attend the TRA conventions. The word on the street was that it usually makes for a pretty good time. So, Fingertoppers decided to show up and see what it was all about. Well, the word on the street was true because it was a blast! Our company made some good connections with vari...

The Culinary Institute of America is the pretty much the most awesome cooking school in the whole entire world. Every time you go to an amazing restaurant, every truly memorable culinary experience of your life, every gastronomic masterpiece you have consumed..... chances are the CIA has either trained the creator or trained people who have influenced the person providing that experience. We are talking real heavy weight famous chefs here. Grant Achatz (owner of Alinea Chicago, one of the few three Michelin star restaurant...

FingerToppers employees may not prioritize keeping up to date on the coolest smart phone apps out there; instead, they are busy spending their time doing stuff like trying to convince people to play the knife game or mumbly peg. Recently however, one of our tide-pod-eating millennial pals was kind enough to introduce us to Instagram and we LOVE IT!  We want you all to follow us! We also want to follow you and learn about you guys. So far, we've been going to our favorite restaurants and giving out bandages and taking photo...

Let us be very clear about something here. We are from San Antonio. We remember the Alamo. We wear cowboy boots. We eat breakfast tacos. We sometimes scream stuff like "Yee Ha!" We attend rodeos to watch grown men jump off of horses and tie up small cows. We want the Spurs basketball team to crap all over every single other NBA team. We have cacti on our porch and they don't die in the winter. We LOVE our soldiers here. We relish it when tourists fall into the riverwalk water. We know what it means to have a REAL fiesta. W...

Happy Valentine's Day everybody! It's time to get romantic with that special someone! You know what that means, right? It means you need to cook them something extravagant and cut your fingers in the process and then order some bandages! Duh. Nothing says romance like being willing to endure shallow finger lacerations while preparing food for the one you love. Our romantic and durable orange bandages with a textured surface will allow you to hold on even more tightly to your sweet baboo. He or she (or ze) will know you ar...

Dr. Stahr and his brother, also Dr. Stahr, took some time off of work. They decided to visit the land of the rising sun during October 2017. They wanted to learn more about a culture that is fascinating and known to produce all kind of crazy inventions and fun stuff. Dr. Stahr wanted to share his bandages with some Japanese people and see what they thought. In the photo above you can see some workers at the world famous Tsukiji fish market and the men in the background are bidding on giant Tuna at an auction. It was really...

Dr. Stahr hit the road this July, 2017 to attend the American Academy of Dermatology with fellow physicians and to brush up on the latest and greatest developments in the science of skin disease treatment. Highlights included on information on tranexamic acid for melasma, novel approaches to hairloss, and developments in melanoma.

The biggest highlight for our company though was getting out there with the NY chefs and handing out bags of product! They loved us and we loved them!
