Let us be very clear about something here. We are from San Antonio. We remember the Alamo. We wear cowboy boots. We eat breakfast tacos. We sometimes scream stuff like "Yee Ha!" We attend rodeos to watch grown men jump off of horses and tie up small cows. We want the Spurs basketball team to crap all over every single other NBA team. We have cacti on our porch and they don't die in the winter. We LOVE our soldiers here. We relish it when tourists fall into the riverwalk water. We know what it means to have a REAL fiesta. We are 100% proud to be from San Antonio. One. Hundred. Percent.
We also really love Austin.
To us, Austin is like our delightfully weird little brother who makes cool music, works at food truck, and has some Sailor Jerry style tattoos that annoy the parents. We love that guy! SXSW music festival is chock full of that guy! So, this week until about Wednesday, FingerToppers are going to be making their way around Austin and we are going to be giving out our bandages to food truck people and chefs. We want to help their tender ouching little fingers. We want to keep blood out of your tacos carbon. We want everyone to have orange digits. We also kind of want to ROCK OUT with some bands like the one with this somewhat sweaty, singing, bearded gentleman in this photo. Oh, just a normal Sunday morning there at Spider House cafe in Austin
Remember, people with orange fingers means FingerToppers was there. Chef and food truck folks, we are coming for you....
